Well Sully disappeared midway through the last game.

I have to return some videotapes.

reply

Really? Seriously? Did you not play Uncharted 1 "Drake's Fortune"
That was in reference to Francis, not Nathan, as was this one.

reply

Both Drakes did the deceiving.

reply

You are entitled to dislike whatever the hell you want to dislike, but I don't really get your complaints. This story did have a beginning, middle and end, what's wrong with Cutter? You disliked it just because he looks like Jason Statham? and Chloe wasn't in the story because she wasn't needed in the story. In terms of characters this story was almost exclusively about Nathan and Sully.

reply

I cannot believe how people never got what was the "Deception" really was... The deception was how stupid people kept on buying copies of this garbage video game series every couple of years without realizing it.

reply

This isn't a halo board, what are you talking about?

reply

He lied about finding Ubar.

reply

It could be a reference to Francis Drake, not Nathan Drake. Francis Drake decieved the queen in not telling her what he found, and hiding all traces of the Atlantis of the Sands (at least all traces minus just enough for Drake and Co. to find it).

I have to return some videotapes.

Yeah... it's referring to Sir Francis Drake. I thought it was pretty evident and obvious, but none of my friends got it either.

reply

There are 2 Drakes: Nate and Sir Francis, and there are 2 deceptions.

Amy Hennig all but stated this plainly in interviews leading up to the game's release.

reply

Nobody seems to have meantioned Nate's deception which is that he's been lying to everybody about who he is, and that he really isn't a descendant of Sir Francis Drake and he took up that mantle when he was at an orphanage. It's a game changer of a deception that sorta got underplayed because by the end of the game, the secret got lost with the villains in Ubar. Only the players really know. I love it!
