They havent really done water so they could do Atlantis maybe

I would love to go to South America. With the catacombs of Iglesia de San Francisco, the floating islands, Chichen Itza and, Cusco and Nazca Peru!
So much you could do with that. Nate needs a minecart chase too.
Since before Uncharted 3 was announced I also wanted a water based one, with islands, underwater shipwrecks, a shipyard and a sinking ship. I was actually dissapointd to find the shipyard and sinking ship in Uncharted 3. I think they should have saved that for a game with that as its central theme.

shareI would personally love to see an episode with Drake facing off against Yakuza in Japan. Tokyo would present such a wicked backdrop for climbing and gun battles. I'd also love to see him uncovering an ancient Shinto shrine. But I just love Asian influences.
The pyramids in Egypt are an obvious choice too.
Some potentially interesting places:
-Africa- Jungle, desert, and savannah all on one continent. The wildlife could be interesting too, with lions, elephants, crocodiles, zebras, etc. There's also the legends of the Lost City of Z in Africa's Congo jungle.
-Japan- Tokyo at night would be a gorgeous location to climb around.

There wont be a part 4.
Uncharted: The Golden Abyss will be a prequel installment, but not a part of the trilogy.
There will be no sequel to Drake's Deception.
I'm with you, I think Atlantis would be sweet! Maybe Nate could take a side trip to Egypt first. They could have a lot of fun with all the ancient egyptian tombs and treasures.
shareItaly would be cool. Places like Rome and Venice would provide a cool backdrop for Drake. Have to be careful with the story, though. All the "critics" would complain that the producers were trying to play off The DaVinci Code and Casino Royale.
I also think that something with pirates rather than English explorers would be cool - you know Blackbeard, Davy Jones, that whole area of lore.
