Didn't feel complete

I rented this, watched it and actually re-watched parts of it because it skipped right to a conclusion with hardly any set up. The ending was super rushed and the end spin was literally explained like a Scooby Doo episode with characters explaining or telling why they did things.

The editing was choppy and guillotined the suspense. The aerial shots were pointless to the point of being gratuitous.

The acting was pretty bad and the baby sitters dialogue didn't work on screen, especially when Voight was questioning her.

The soundtrack however was awesome. Real power there, but that is the problem, I noticed that several times the music did something powerful or effective when NOTHING happened on screen or in the story. This just made it feel like a bad editing job or that the soundtrack had been recorded before and simply laid over scenes.

Jon Voight was okay. His character was kind of thin. He wasn't given much to work with. Basically waking scared from dreams or doing an angry senior citizen look. I like him but wasn't too moved. And the mustache didn't help.
