What happens in the end?

Tom went to visit Ricky Tulse for the second time and he and Mandy found him dead, he'd left a memory-card, which Tom took home to watch on his computer. He discovered that Tulse was his father and had been abusing vulnerable women at Greenlake. Metzler knew about this, encouraged it and sold the babies. One of the babies was Tom.
Tom, after discovering this, confronted Metzler, with the help of Mike. Metzler said that his dad Sam was involved and he'd been blackmailing Metzler. He threatened to bring Sam Ronstandt down with him if Tom did anything. Tom realised that the reason Sam didn't publish all that he'd found out because he was protecting him for the truth, that's also why he beat him when he was sneaking around the office.
Tom writes up everything about Greenlake and takes it to the local newspaper, where it's published. Mike forgives Tom and he ends up staying to live with Mandy. Nancy has put Sam into resbite care after a particular outburst and fear of losing her child. Tom goes to see his dad in the care home and apologises and thanks him.
At the end, Tom and Mandy go to Ricky Tulse's funeral. Tom drops dirt onto the coffin and spits. That is the end!
