What became of Tom's birth mother, the woman in Green Lake who was one of those raped? Did they ever say anything else about her?
There was more than one lobster present at the birth of Jesus?
Nothing more was said about her because her only relevance was shown. She gave birth, the baby was taken from her and that's it.
shareI'll use my imagination and guess that Tom would of course research his mother. She most probably is alive and he'd want to know her. And she may want to meet him. She was raped, a victim, unlike his bio-father, so he has no animosity towards her.
shareWell I hope he did try to find her. Whilst I enjoyed the mini series very much and found it very well acted, I did dislike the basic premise that only the fathers appeared to be of importance.
Edith was literally dead and her back story completely sketchy, but Tom's interest in her and, more importantly, Eileen Hughes his biological mother seemed non-existent.
