Boycott IMDB use rotten tomatoes instead.

Who's with me?

count me in.
Voting with one's feet (and mouse button) seems to be the only response the droids running IMDB understand

I definitely will use IMDB far less without forums. First thing I do after seeing a movie is come to the IMDB forums to read feedback and discuss the movie and to answer any questions I had. A great asset will now be nulled and voided. Who exactly did they ask in the survey of their 250 million members when deciding this? I certainly never gave feedback. The troll excuse is weak. I just ignored those posts.

Survey?? Gosh, how 20th century.

Amazon owns IMDB. Jeff Bezos owns Amazon and the more recently acquired Washington Post. Bezos has his ambitions and he wants to stay friends with the movers and shakers in Hollywood. It's a bunch of people who like to control agendas -- *ALL* agendas. Allowing the peasants to form their own opinions about Hollywood's product, and -- THE HORROR! -- share them is just taking this pesky "freedom of speech" thang too far.

You join the dots and you'll have your answer.

The trolls excuse is weak. There are ways of blocking persistent trolls. It's insulting that IMDB decided to cancel messageboards with such a weak excuse. Will messageboards continue in the IMDB PRO version?

They fvcked our entire community.

I was on their boards for 11 years.

Fvck 'em.

I haven't clicked on a single IMDb link since they closed the boards, and I don't intend ever doing so.
