Was she supposed to look so bad in this movie? She looked like she never bathed or ran a brush through her hair. Her eyeliner looked like she just slept in it all the time. She just looked so dirty all the time. Was this intentional??

She was really offputting in every scene that it was distracting. Couldn't reconcile the fact that someone who looked like Efron was going after her so hard when, as you said, she looked so disheveled.

That was my problem too. She was kind of cute in a way but nowhere near hot enough to be paired with Zac.

I think that's a matter of opinion.You never know what attracts another person to someone else. I did think she looked like she was dirty but the character liked it, I guess.lol I also don't get the big hoopla over ZA looks. He has a nice body, but I don't find his face to be that good looking. His eyes are too close together and it makes him look like a cartoon.

I think she was supposed to be seen as carefree, fun, and low maintenance.
I didn't notice her looking too bad, just a little disheveled a couple times.

I'd agree with that, fits in with the whole 'this chick is so cool, she drinks beer and plays Xbox' thing that they were presenting her as. My problem was that I was too distracted by how miscast she was. She wasn't bad, in fact with the material she was given, she was quite good, but she just didn't look or feel right for this part.

I drink beer, play xbox & love to rumble - I can still manage to brush my hair and look bathed (90% of the time).
