I haven't watched the anime, but I've read some of the manga. It picks up so much after I think episode 2.
I refuse to watch the anime because it deviates from the manga after 11 episodes
I watched the anime last year and have been reading the manga ever since. The anime ended while the manga is still going on. I just wish they would continue blue exorcist! The manga arc currently going on is absolutely amazing!
shareI watched the entire anime which was great. The one thing I don't get is what the role of that exorcist cram school student who always carried the puppet was? Do they address his character in the manga? Is he important? All the other students had an important role so it doesn't seem like they would just throw the character into the series for nothing.
shareThe puppet guy, Takara, was actually explained in the current arc of the manga. I won't give any spoilers just in case you want to read it but it definitely surprised me. The manga is definitely worth reading if you loved the show!
shareThis is fast becoming one of my favorite shows on TV. It's a bummer that it's only 25 episodes.
shareI just watched a few episodes through DirecTV's "On Demand", and it's a pretty good show. Also helps that Kira Buckland voices one of the characters, too!
