I enjoyed it

In a slow pace, low budget, love story sort of way. I wouldn't actually pay $15 to watch it at the theater, but on a rainy Sunday afternoon, it was a decent watch.

I did too. I just watched it on Netflix and thought it was a pretty decent movie. At first I thought I was going to be watching a total cliche, but it was a pleasant surprise. A bit of action, romance, and mystery made it fun.
I was also impressed with the twist at the end when you find out that Freddy wasn't actually in the comma with Ana, but perhaps connected in some way with his dreams.

reply

I don't know if it's possible to be in a comma, they're too small. Maybe a question mark?

ok, you got me. Funny type. Took me a moment.

typo...... I made a typo on the word typo

I liked it, too. Terribly romantic, really, yet not a bit sappy about it, and gorgeous to look at. Beautiful little movie. No great mystery or even much suspense, but a sturdy, well-told fairy tale for grown-ups. And just a little bit scary, with a couple of small but genuine surprises here and there.

Very satisfying! Perfect rainy-day or can't-sleep movie.

I liked this movie too. I thought it was pretty original and told a good story. I enjoyed the connections made throughout the movie and felt situation was nicely presented.

I loved it, and I speak as a well-published critic on science fiction, fantasy, and horror.

But none of that should matter; I loved the film for what it is.

I think there is a lot of "halo effect" occurring here in the board complaints ... you know, someone says something nice, you want to agree; someone says something negative, you want to agree also, so that you're in the group. No offense implied at all; it's just a sociological effect.

What I loved:

The actors developed chemistry over time.

The Wall of Black Fog has a scientific basis.

Freddy and Ana bicker a bit but realize they must pull together their resources, namely, his comics and her play.

It's not a horror film -- it's not scary, but it's eerie and atmospheric.

Cinematography was great all the way through.

Every moment in the hospital, and I say this feelingly, after having recently spent a week in hospital, was done quite well.

I'm sad to see that ShowTime, where I've watched this three times, won't be showing it again. They will, however, be showing "The Gift," which I'm interested in.

Comments about pacing and general blah-ness, I can't answer to, because I loved every inch of this wonderful little film.

Isn't it wonderful that we all have differences of opinion? I'll be looking for more movies of this type; and the haters can take their hate elsewhere.

Happy Halloween and Happy Other Holidays to all of you!
