When Gary Cole was on playing B.A.G.'s dad. Cole was singing on stage with the band. Was that his real voice? If so, he has a solid voice.

Good question. I agree that it sounded good. Going by this interview with Brian Austin Green, it may be Gary Cole's voice:

Gary Cole came in and played my dad. He’s the man. He’s so funny. I got to sing a duet with him, which was really cool.
