the only other time i participated in any kind of "save a tv series" was a decade ago with save farscape, and that actually worked, sort of. the show never came back but we did get a mini-series finale.
i don't have the time to build or website or anything, but i hope someone does, because this show deserves to be saved. i'd sign a petition or even send in a letter, whatever i can. anyone else agree?

For me it's mostly because it's a show I can watch with my boyfriend and we both REALLY like it!
The music is really good, the humor and crazy situations they get into are a bit like The Hangover.
All and all I think I could watch this show over and over again (even if it's just for the music)
The American television networks have done it again....canned a great show and yet continue to let the crappy shows live on.
It is truly disappointing to see so many good shows get axed after one season and just not given a chance to develop. Wedding Band was one of those shows, I enjoyed every episode and I am devastated to find out it has been sidelined.
Well done to all the guys of the actual Wedding Band group - they sung so well - I was stunned to find out recently that they were singing for real and not lip-synching.

Great show... and as someone who hangs out in the local music scene, a lot moments that felt familiar too.
Wedding Band was on 7:30pm on Wednesdays in Australia (this slot is currently occupied by Glee)... I didn't initially realise it had such a crappy timeslot in the US. If more people had actually known about the show, I'm sure it would have done pretty well there.
