Just Air the Original!

I am an American and went out of my way to find the orignal British show and watch it. It is one of the best British shows I have ever seen and probably the funniest thing I have ever seen on TV. There is no way they will be able to even come close to making this as funny as the original. Especially, with it airing on MTV. I would have a little more hope if it aired on HBO or Showtime or something but MTV, no way. I just watched the remake of "Skins" tonight here in the U.S. and it was terrible. Plus, there is no American word for "clunge." Just air the original on HBO and let everyone enjoy!

i agree, saw the first season on BBC America and downloaded the other 2 seasons to watch them, there is no way to make it as good as the original, especially if it's on MTV, just air the originals!

Another thing. I just noticed on this site it says this is going to be a "TV movie" and a "drama". Really? It is not a new tv series? And the original is a flat out straight-up comedy. No drama about it whatsoever. What is going on with this show? Anyone know?

Of course there is no American word for clunge. Clunge is a universal word now. Just say it to any teenage boy and he will get the message.

if you watched the original. dylan is carly's little brother. who is a child. and if the original creators of the inbetweeners are producing this show and writing for it and helping directing this one. they must believe in it.

why are the original writers doing thsi just stick with the original inbetweeners could have continued atleast to a fourth series

How dare you. The original show's rapid fire jokes and clever twists will be too much for the poor MTV viewers' brains to handle.

They need a smart show like this to be softened down first. Sorta like when a bird eats something and throws it up for its young to consume.

Just be happy they aren't trying to pillage Peep Show!! This show will suck, but we still have the original and no crap version can take that away lol

I was actually pretty optimistic about this since Awkward (an MTV original) is basically a gender-bent version of the original, but this just looks terrible.
