Can't seem to find anything about a release DATE.....but I was wondering where it would premier. I live in Savannah and had no idea they were filming here. Would be fantastic if the premier were here!
shareAt the showing of the movie Savannah at the Charleston Film Festival, the director, Annette Haywood-Carter, said it would have a limited release in the south, southeast and southwest in August 2013. The DVD would be released and available at Wal-Mart in October 2013.
She did say that if the response is good to the limited showings, they would look to expanding the theaters to show the movie.
Thanks- Hopefully it will have a good release. I was the marine coordinator for the film and many friends ask ...when can I see the film?
I hope the release gets expanded, I would like to see it at the theater.

I just watched it on Comcast On Demand.
It's an interesting story but the editing was bad. Editing has to be great when the story is told in flashback. So sometimes it was hard to follow and the sound isn't wonderful.
Film is beautifully filmed. Much of it is located on the water in the marshes around Savannah. I love the marsh and it's smell and I could almost smell it. Made me homesick.
