Johnny tells the driver " we are heading North". What airport in the North of England has direct flights to Santiago and Rio (see Johnny surveying Flight Departure board)

What difference would it make? It isn't important to the plot.

I think it was north of the town, London (?), not England.

London Stanstead? (more north-east though, lol!)

Except Stansted does not have flights to South America, only Heathrow maybe Gatwick

Stansted does appear in a lot of films - the dark knight rises for example
