Clever Camera Angles to Make the Unusual Merge into Normalacy

As a former assistant editor, I loved how the director and cinematographer, along with Bill Nighy himself, used or allowed camera angles to highlight Mr Nighy's hands as he tackled certain tasks rather than pull back as most others in their position would do when working with a minor form of disability.
For those who aren't aware, Mr Nighy suffers from a condition where some of his fingers are bent in towards his palm. He was diagnosed in his 20s and, although it is somewhat noticeable for certain scenes, his other film work usually always sidesteps around it and rarely shows his hands in closeup. I would imagine that most who have this condition would prefer to have the emphasis always focussing on something else but the way these three have approached this in Page Eight by focussing on his hands in very strong closeup instead is a true work of art and a salute to their 'going against the grain'. I stand and applaud all of them!
