In all of premium channel history? He used to be likeable but turned into such an annoyingly, unbearable cartoonish cliche of over-the-top proportions. At least when Johnny Drama started getting annoying, the jokes at his expense were still hitting.

Early episodes I almost felt sorry for him with how he was always getting 'picked on' by the others. But towards the end he went 100% over the top douche with nothing to like about him.
Around season 3-4 they just destroyed his character.
I cringed almost in embarrasment half the time he opened his mouth.
shareDoug is a caricature of the sheltered idealized life of a Harvard white male. What is annoying about him is sending a message about what is annoying with stereotypical pretentious, Ivy-league schmucks.
Case in point - have you watched video of Steve Ballmer selling Windows on infomercials back in the 80s, or yelling "developers developers developers" with sweat stains under his arms that make his shirt look almost sleeveless. How do you take a guy like that seriously? While we're wondering about that, he buys a basketball team with billions made from terrorizing people with the Windoze blue screen of death and laughing at iPhone.
