What was your favorite segment?

Particularly I liked "Diary of a Beginner", directed by Elia Suleiman.

I found interesting the way he leads the story, showing a less "exciting" side of Havana, which can even make the film a bit tedious, if were not those comical parts.
It's a script without climax, in my opinion, drafted in a way that who is seeing get bored and always wait for some turnaround, that does not happen.
In the final scene (when appears a woman looking at the sea from a cliff), I had a strange feeling of wishing that she jumped overboard, just to happen at least something exciting...

P.S. 1: The part that a guy spells his name in the Palestinian embassy saying "Israel" to the "i's" is hilarious.

P.S. 2: I also liked "El Yuma" and "Jam Session".

Monday, El Yuma. It was interesting, I liked how he helped the guy/girl in the end, giving the cap and not letting them humiliate him/her. Plus, Teddy Atkins was really hot :D

By far the last piece. Simply hilarious!

Of my part, I also prefer the «El yuma»... Besides that positive reaction of the protagonist, I waited for a hug that would reveal compression, but, maybe It would been so much for that.

"Diary of a Beginner", directed by Elia Suleiman; the perspective and the pursuit of perfection like Kubrick´s work, have a delicate treatment. A little opus magnus!

JAM SESSION. It has a certain charm to it. Thanks mainly to the characters.

To me, it was Jam Session. I left my soul at a Havana dawn with the beautiful music.

I alsa liked the weekends. It was ironic how a doctor gives advices about stress when she could not handle her own. And the lady at the fountain session was adorable. Plus, we got to see more of daily-family life stories of Havana. I am not saying that these are everyday events but I believe the reactions were unique.
