The ending made me cry...

I wonder what the next season has in store for us.

Yep it was really powerful. I predict at the start of next season, Carrie will be back to health and hopefully she'll team up with Saul early, instead of later in the season this time.

I don't know enough about bipolar disorder, but is her current condition even reversible?

Good question, but seeing as how she is the main character of the series, I'm going to guess: plot-armor. :)
