Another man loses his life after sticking it in Carrie. I wonder how much more she can take as she's beyond insane now with flashback visions of past dead lovers and almost running over her own daughter... Any sane person would have her retire for good. Her life is literally in shambles along with the medication she needs to take. If they still keep her on... -_- might as well hire The Joker to do detective work.
shareWell, I don't know if she necessarily has to retire for good, but next step for her is definitely the hospital - she had a full-on mental breakdown.
I do think there is a possibility she can get well again, though, at least to the extent possible with her disorder.
Usually when one has a full mental breakdown, they're let go if not sooner, in the real world that is. I kind of forgave the show after they let her back in to do detective work after her previous breakdowns but it's gotten to the point where they just keep bringing her back in no matter how messed up she gets and always compromising the mission at hand or others lives cause of her so-called hunches (which at most times turns out to be somewhat right).
