Please don’t let this be the whole S7 story...

Let’s get back to hezobollah, espionage, and double agents, please. This current story is incredibly boring and it was boring last year, too.

Well gee, I see you've seen the entire season and have now spoiled it all. No need to watch at all now. This is the FIRST episode of season seven. We have eleven more to go. Why not sit back and actually watch the show, or stop watching altogether since you already know how it's going to go.

I said, "Please don't let this be the whole S7 story" which indicates I am hoping it doesn't continue on this path. I never implied I knew the outcome of S7. At the end - was he killed by something in the butt or mouth?

It was the tongue. The guard never touched the general's anus, the general was told to "spread the cheeks" while the guard looked in with a flashlight.

Not at all, Homeland just keeps getting better. This whole story is leading somewhere, the same place the nightly news is leading ... to massive manipulation. The right-wing nuts are not out to get Donald Trump ... are you even watching the same program?

reply

Yeah, I am not sure how this Trump analogy even came about, it doesn't make sense.

I find it hilarious. The producers have painted themselves into a corner with last year's story. They have been implying in interviews that this season's plotline is inspired by Trump. But they have a few problems:

1. Their president is a woman.
2. Their president is a democrat.
3. Their president throws those she deems her political enemies in prison.

None of these apply to Trump, so if they are of the impression that this season's storyline will make Trump look bad, they are sorely mistaken. It looks more like what Hillary's America would have been like.

Reminds me of the folks saying House of Cards' Frank Underwood's like Trump, when he's 1) A Democrat 2) Based on Bill & Hillary Clinton and 3) Trump hasn't murdered people nor conspires to murder people.

reply

Definitely described Hillary to a "T".

Oh God. I just watched the first episode of this season, and I think I'm probably done. What a ridiculous plot/premise this show was last year, and now this year. It's no longer even remotely believable. And like you said, I thought this show was about protecting the U.S. against foreign terrorists and countries? Not this year, I guess.

reply

I really don't have a problem with this at all - you can't keep doing the same thing over and over for eight seasons!
