What did you guys think when Brody *Spoilers*

Showed up in Season 4? I know Carrie was drugged and hallucinating but i had a tiny chance of hope inside me that he was really there and his death had been faked somehow. Then when i saw the color of his shirt change while she was in his arms i was like "God damn it! Brody's still dead".

It was so cool seeing Brody again but it was so damn mean of the writers to give people a sliver of hope he might be alive then take it away.

Did you think Brody was back or did you know she was hallucinating?

Thats what i love about these high school girls, i get older they stay the same age.

This is the best-question-never-asked-on-IMDB-Homeland.

I thought it was cruel and also thought he was alive. Call me a cockeyed optimist, but I did think that.

Thanks, and yeah i was praying that entire scene "Please let him really be alive". When Carrie covered her eyes thinking he would go away then she uncovered them and he was still there staring her in the face i was like "Yes!".

That scene had me totally convinced he was alive, then it was like i was punched in the gut when it turned out to be that it was that military officer and Carrie was just hallucinating.

God i miss Brody so much. At this point i'd be fine with seeing Dana or his family pop back up in a future season, just to have some kind of connection back to Brody in the show. I'd like Dana to find out he died trying to help his country and redeem himself.

Hmm...that's why I say what I say in the thread "There's No More Story Left to Tell." "Homeland" was a spy thriller AND a spectacular romance. Carrie was always the stronger of the two, despite everything she went through. To lose the weaker, the one that breaks your heart (as his whole family does)... Well, all I'll say is that this series comes closer than any I can think of to approximating what a real death feels like, an ever-present fact of life.

I also felt the same way and really wanted him to actually be a alive.

I hated the treasonous *beep* glad he's decomposing...

I was binge-watching it on Netflix so I knew he wasn't coming back- it was an emotional moment though, Carrie getting to see and touch him one last time... It was one of the only times we got to see how traumatizing witnessing his hanging had been to her.

YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!!!!!!
