Whats the point of bringing back Quinn if he has become like this

It should be pretty obvious that this is exactly what's going to happen. You're complaining for nothing. He was tortured, almost to death, and now has some form of PTSD. He will heal and recover. He's still in Carrie's life, so he will obviously be part of the main conflict of the show. Quinn almost died and was in a medically-induced coma the last time we saw him. It would be ridiculous if the show didn't present him as a recovering victim at the beginning of the following season. This was only episode 1. Patience.
