This looks terrible. Writers officially out of ideas.

lol in the trailer saul gets kidnapped again.

this guy gets kidnapped like 5 times a year LOL.

Carrie is now like a political activist lawyer.. what? LOL

and zombie quinn is alive cuz the writers remembered they can't kill off the only interesting character the show has to offer.

I've watched the season 6 premiere, it's great, and the story looks really promising.

Doubt it lol

one person judging it on the trailer, one person has actually watched an episode. hmm, which one has more credibility...

We don't actually know that saul gets kidnapped. and where do you get the idea quinn is acting like a zombie? Maybe just watch the episode and not rely on trailers which are always misleasing

reply

Just watched S6E1 on Showtime. Not impressed in the least, but will reserve judgment.

Don't know about the kidnapping bit, but Carrie is not a lawyer - rather, working with one (along with a group) to defend Muslims from what they deem to be "persecution". A pretty ham-handed one-eighty from her previous life, which will probably be explained away using a guilt motive or something equally implausible... if it's addressed at all.

Zombie Quinn will become an extremely tedious distraction if it turns out he's not just putting on an act as part of some sting operation (which, so far, does not appear to be the case).

The s06 premier ep was seriously painful to watch. I did 15 minutes and then switched to another show, and resumed the final 35 minutes this morning. Carrie has gone full-crazy (Tropic Thunder reference). Was she near a huge explosion, because she appears to be totally deaf. Carrie, what part of "you need to leave, now" wasn't clear? I even expected the muslim kid to say it, at some point. There are no opening credits because, based on the short-haired semi-butch president-elect, they got it totally wrong and haven't had time to re-shoot their political agenda, err, opening. maybe the implication they plan to assassinate her is their way of doing a re-write. I guess Carries bi-polar now manifests itself with her killing muslims in odd numbered seasons and aiding them in even numbered seasons. And Otto, the worst part of the entire series (and this includes Dana and her brain-dead brother) is back.

My Chimp DNA seems to have lost its password temporarily. Sluggr-2

Just FYI: there are never opening credits in the premiere episode. It's been like that the past six seasons.

so you think all Muslims are terrorists, huh? It's a wonder some of the nuances of the show are lost on you!

reply

It is totally a guilt motive, and I don't like it. BUT I will wait to see if as the case with this kid unfolds her little shut-tight naive kitten eyes will be pried open again slowly but surely. And Sad Quinn will become Badass Quinn again. As it all should be, forever and ever, Amen.
