I hadn't seen any previews and was completely thrown off

By Carrie's change of character. To be fair, she has never been one to have ever shown any sort of hatred towards them. At least, as far as I can remember. Still a bit weird to see her outright defending them.

and the "Madame president-elect" guess they expected Hillary to win? Lol

I also hate what they've done to Quinn. It doesn't seem like he'll ever recover and seeing him dragged and taken to the ground by those guards was kind of heart breaking since he use to be such a bad ass. I want him to fully recover but at the same time it'll feel too much like a Marvel movie to see him go back to the way he use to be.

They completely expected Clinton to win and the show's defense is pathetic. They claim the president is a mix of Trump, Clinton and Sanders. Oh yeah, sure.

I don't think this character acts like Clinton. Clinton isn't dovish. She's actually kind of a hawk. I definitely see the Sanders element in this character wanting to pull back from military efforts overseas. The whole personal element of having lost a son? No Clinton in there either. Also, so far they are having a tough transition/dynamic with her, which reminds me way more of Trump than either of the others. He's already dissed the intelligence community publicly.

Thank you I feel like I've been talking to a wall around here! People are so hyper partisan about this

Hahahaha

A female as president is completely crazy in anyway.

Carrie has always been respectful towards Muslims.
