Nobody believed me!

Yeah Quinn is not dead as I have predicted last year. Everybody was saying the light symbolizes peace and Claire pulled the plug on him.

I on the other hand thought light symbolizes hope which meant he is not done yet.

He is already kicking ass next episode with one functional arm :)

I hope his story ends relatively well as we cant hope for the very best when it comes to Homeland. If someone deserves to survive all of this is fricking Quinn.

I don't know why anyone thought anything else. He didn't die at the end of last season. We never saw him dead. We never saw his heart monitor flatline in the hospital. There was never a funeral. Etc. But I remember several people being somehow convinced that he was dead. People post with such a sense of absolutism and an absence of nuance on this board sometimes. Welp, they were all inarguably wrong.

Nothing you have to say is anywhere near as useful or important as you think it is.

You sound like a smart one! I assume you said something to this effect before Season 6 was forming and Rupert Friend was confirmed to be back with the show. If I look in your history, will I find the post where you set everyone straight?

reply

No, you won't, because this board gets purged and old posts get removed. I certainly did "set everyone straight" about this at the end of last season though. Believe me if you want. I really couldn't care less.

They pulled a "Jon Snow" on Quinn.

reply

The difference being the showrunners and head of Showtime basically confirmed his return as early as a few weeks after the premiere. Instead of those at GoT who said Jon Snow was dead.

He almost knocked the gun out of that thief's hand just using his face!

I was on here affirming that Quinn was not dead, and (taking one step further) speculated that his condition was a ruse to get to Carrie.
