Quinn's good-by love letter to Carrie

In that letter, he expressed great regrets because "they" never went anywhere.

And now, even though he is all messed up.... what happened to those feelings? It is as if they are two differently scripted characters with no past relationship. Their whole dynamic has changed.

Quinn is acting like a douche because he thinks he's a caricature of his former self. He doesn't want Carrie to waste her time on him because he thinks he won't get any better, but at the same time he doesn't have the guts to cut her visits for good because the feelings are still there.

What I don't get is Carrie visiting him every day and caring that much. If she hadn't read the letter, I would say she's visiting because she feels responsible for his current state, out of pity. Maybe knowing about his feelings made her realize she also feels something for him. She's never been as patient as she is with him, so there must be a reason behind her behaviour, one we still don't know.

Their dynamic has definitely changed, but i think it's a shift we need to keep things interesting between them. He is not the calm, collected one, she is. And he is no longer the person she can count on and trust, she went so far to lock him in her basement. He is no longer pining for her, and how can he when is he dealing with no longer being the "quinning" badass he used to be? I think she's taking care of him out of guilt and because she does care about him.

I love how he's been told to take a shower by multiple women. He must smell pretty bad.

I wonder if the writers are trying to give the actor a hint that he in fact stinks !

Actually I thinj the "no shower" thing might be due to a spoiler that happens later...
