Did anyone know Bill was a fighting machine?

Just wondering.

Nobody seemed to take Bill seriously aside from Andy Serkis' character in his earlier meeting with T and, possibly, the pub landlord. They just treated him like a meek low-level criminal.

So, Bill had a reputation for being "crazy", good at selling drugs and a thief but ... T, Dickie and the other thugs didn't know he was a skilled enough fighter to KO a room full of dudes?

I was never really sure what the nature of Bill's underworld rep was.
