Loved it

Saw it at Christmas originally and again five years later on Prime. I have seen the stage version with Jack Shepherd and I have read the story and watched the 60s version and the 60s version, which everyone goes on about, though truer to the tale, is rubbish entertainment compared to this. I think a lot of people distort their own memories of things and can't admit that years later, it's actually not as good as they remember.

I found this genuinely creepy and chilling compared to the tame 60s version

I've never seen any other version. But it really scared me, and I'm not that easily scared. The scary parts are few. I suspect it was a time restriction. But I'm glad because if they'd gone on much longer, I would've had to turn it off. Too scary.
