How can I get my hands on this?

I am American and want to see this movie as part of my thesis research - does anyone know if they produce a dvd that's compatible with my region? that's probably asking a lot because after searching the internet I couldn't find a dvd version of it that was even for sale, and the only copies I found on the World Cat Database were in France and Barcelona. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, or tell me how you were able to see it (there are some reviews so people have been watching it somehow!)
