I actually like them together. They know how to hurt each other but if they truly sat down and talk they have a lot to offer a lasting relationship.

Over the course of the show I think the show did a piss poor job of writing Connor's as an abused child. We never saw any scenes with his father. We saw his mother's abandonment, but what about all this abuse he supposedly suffered at the hands of his father.
