if the winner of this season is going to run Buddy's LV shop...

it won't make for great tv, but there better be some actual 'management' challenges, such as delegating responsibilities, refereeing personal(ity) disputes, accounting tasks, and major decision making

after all, when one's the boss, they probably spend very little time actually baking and decorating, and lots of time running the place, keeping it together

they should also have to watch every episode of Bakery Boss, up to the point where Buddy takes over and say what they would do to improve the shop and how to avoid getting that bad in the first place

I have a hunch IF indeed they do get to run the bakery, Buddy will keep a VERY close idea on it. Remember that unlike Bakery Boss, the winners will not own the bakery; they'll simply manage it. Buddy will still be the owner and he'll make sure it is successful.

I wonder how big the LV bakery is - how many people will they actually have to manage or will they simply be main bakers?

My problem with the Blue Team winning is that I don't recall them ever taking the lead on a team cake, do you? I even recall Lia saying in one of the cut-in interviews that they were just letting Jose or whoever it was in that one take over and doing their work on the cake. Yes, their work was consistent (and, sorry, but Al/Manny was right, it was boring, until the Pagoda cake, every cake they made by themselves was a stacked wedding-type cake, just with different decorations) and clean and nice, but they never demonstrated management or leadership skills, they're followers. Were they one of the ones with their own bakery? I don't remember from the premiere. From the beginning, they were the only team who didn't seem to have a 'hook,' nothing to remember them for, they were white bread, they were the tortoise who just kept plugging along, slow and steady won the race (not saying Al & Manny should have won, though).

Pretty much no challenge Buddy asked of the teams had anything to do with *running* a bakery, working in, yes, and if these two are to be 'head baker' & 'lead decorator,' fine, they'll probably do well, doing a lot of it themselves, but leading people, delegating tasks, keeping an eye on the books, resolving employee disputes? Show me where they demonstrated those skills.

...and I guess they'll have to get over the whole 'not using fonDANT' thing...
