What happened to the Halloween Hound?

At the end of the movie, all of the characters are "unfrozen" except for the Halloween Hound. It's never explained what happened to him - any ideas?

This movie is wrongly rated as "G"

it's a movie about talking dogs, it doesn't need an explanation for anything haha
