Interesting list 
I can never list a top 10. But I can do a top 5?

1. 2001
2. The Shining
3. Eraserhead
4. Days of Being Wild
5. Enter the Void (Well it's not there anymore, but I'm still waiting for that one movie to overtake it)

Boogie Nights is somewhere in my top 10. Inherent Vice could be up there too within time.

Since I haven't seen all of the top movies of all time, this unordered list is from the 941 films I have seen and rated on IMDB.

Rashomon
Don't Look Now
The Shinning
Blue Velvet
Mean Streets
The French Connection
Pulp Fiction
China Town
Annie Hall
2001: A Space Odyssey

Honorary mention to Eyes Wide Shut, Shame, Flirting, A Short Film About Love, Walkabout.

I am going at this very systematically. I will compile a top 500 list of my own when I am done with early, hollywood classic, european and oriental cinema.
