I dunno what some people are smokin' (some uptight juice, maybe lol?) but I'm a fan of shows like South Park and The Simpsons, Aqua Team Hunger Force, The Cleveland Show, etc and this show reminds me of pieces of all of those, especially South Park. Allen G. is like a combination of each kid in South Park, especially Cartman lol ^_^ I've seeked this show out online to watch cause I usually miss it on Sundays but I think its funny and fresh and hilariously controversial and yeah, it pushes the envelope and does some unconventional things, but thats partly what makes it so interesting and funny and what I like about it lol. I guess it's a matter of taste. These satirizing risque type of cartoons (in which everyone gets shot at like an equal opportunity dissing) crack me up lol ^_^ But everyone's entitled to their own opinions haha ^_^ To each his own I guess lol ;P

I guess it's a matter of taste.

It's all about the numbers, networks don't care about people's tastes.
On any other network, with the possible exception of the CW, if a show launched with a 2.4 & 4.77 Million viewers and then steadily lost viewers each week, 2.1/4.31, 2.0/4.237, 1.9/3.973, 1.5/3.12... It wouldn't have lasted the 7 episodes ‘Allen Gregory’ did.

Granted due to a case of nothing-else-on, the 6th episode was the highest rated but that was only a 2.4/5.219 million viewers with the final episode landing with a thud at another 1.5/3.315 million.

‘Allen Gregory’ was doomed from the start, just like the upcoming ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ will be.

Agreed, Napoleon has less of a fan base than Allen Gregory. I have no idea What FOX is thinking green lighting these stupid shows. Look at I hate my teenage daughter, another case of someone at fox screwing up hardcore.
