Tale of 2 Movies

Anyone else find this was 2 films awkwardly squashed together?

Part of the film is a typical fart/awkward sex confession/crass comedy that is very typical.

But some of the political stuff - silly as it was - seemed to hit the mark as a parody of US elections.

Like, keeping saying "Jesus, Freedom, America" over and over. The impact of social media in the brilliant baby-punching moment.

And of course the Motch Brothers were, sadly, a fabulous take on the Koch Brothers - even sliding in a bitter joke that "it's not illegal since Citizen's United" - the Supreme Court ruling that it's okay for billionaires to pour all the money they want into political ads.

So yes, gross-out movie meets what's gross about politics today.
