@lorenzoocon: Pretty much, except for the ending (MAJOR SPOILERS): actually the victim family gets away with barely a scratch (a shotgun handle to the head), the head villain dies and his wife and son go bye-bye with the cops.
A lot of the dialogue and character actions are very movie-like and not at all what a normal person would say or do.
All in all it was bearable, but it didn't do anything for me.

It is Funny Games made by a dumbass. But those shots of the family on the sofa...I mean come on. Or the shots of the outside of the house. So lame. Kind of like they mixed it with The Strangers but more rapey.

It did kind of interest me...but if it's just a bunch of psycho's that torment a family and slowly find great joy in knocking them all off one by one..I already saw The Strangers and Funny Games..
They both did it very well already..and were both depressing..

If any of the family survives than at least there would be that for a change..

It's Funny Games meets Antichrist. Family goes into forest home to grieve the passing of a child and then Funny Games kicks in. It's like they saw some Von Trier films and did a bad mash-up.
