The Strangers did it better
The whole time I was watching this movie, I kept thinking of the film The Strangers.
Only difference was the invaders weren't wearing masks.

But in The Strangers, we never know who the guys were and they didn't want to take them identities they just wanted to "have fun" like Funny games.
I think is more like a mixture of those two movies and movies like A Perfect Getaway(identity thief).
