The moral of the story
If someone hates Christmas and is a bad person, your henchmen can smack her down and break her just-healing nose again. I thought that was wholly unnecessary.

shareIt was an accident, no?
Not the worst a villain can get.
I hate the Hollywood [it's okay to cheat-yes, kiss is cheat to many-on someone as long as it's with the right person] moral.
Real LOSERS spell 'loser' looser!
No, it wasn't an accident. The friend solicited the stagehand's help beforehand.
shareNobody invited her backstage!
That's your excuse for bodily assault?
shareThat's your excuse for bodily assault?
No, she didn't walk into a prop. The stagehand and the woman's friend conspired to hit her with the prop. Pay attention.
shareI'm only going to give you one more chance before assuming you're a TROLL!
SHE WALKED INTO THE PROP! She should look where she's going! She deserved it!
You're wrong. She walked into the space that allowed her friend and the stagehand to hit her with the door, and that is why her friend had to ASK the stagehand to help her.

Everyone's a hero in their own mind.
shareI just now watched this movie and the friend and stagehand did lower it to the floor but it was there and in place before she turned around and ran into it, so technically they did not hit her with it. She walked into it.
shareWay to excuse the inexcusable.
shareSo, how do you excuse her being a thief, bully and liar?

Ever learned the reason vigilantism was made illegal?
shareEver learned the reason vigilantism was made illegal?
You didn't answer my question. Two wrongs don't make one right, remember?
shareI did answer your question--what they did wasn't a crime. She wasn't even that badly hurt (the broken nose was from an earlier incident).
Further, since Wendy was unaware of what they were doing and wouldn't have sanctioned it, she's not responsible for it. So, her ultimate fate with the Hot Guy of the story is not morally compromised by what her friends did.
As for Priscilla, she had a pattern of engaging in illegal and unethical behavior that she got away with for a long time via bullying and steamrolling over objections. In karma terms, all she got was a taste of her own medicine. She may suspect they deliberately left that prop out, but just as the people she screwed over in the past couldn't prove what she did, she can't prove what they did.
Since it's a fictional story in which the audience wants to see the Villain get her comeuppance, what's important is that the "punishment" fit the "crime" (and, in Priscilla's case, it did), so the "Two wrongs don't make a right" principle doesn't apply.

It's bodily assault. Glad to know you tolerate physical violence against your enemies.
shareand blackmail and felony thievery is ok with you?
No, that's why we have a legal system and don't have to resort to vigilantism.
shareYou need to read what is written on every theater in the United States: NO ONE IS PERMITTED BACKSTAGE UNLESS THEY ARE EITHER STAGE HANDS OR WITH THE PERFORMING COMPANY.
The male lead was the main reason that that theater was in existence so he was included as he was on the Board.
Sorry, but you are wrong. The janitor (not even a stagehand. He wasn't in blacks) put the nutcracker scenery piece down on purpose while he and the costume designer giggled.
Not to mention the nutcracker would already be down if it was supposed to start the show in the down position. Source? I am a professional props artisan.
It was on purpose.
The moral of the story is... lighten up! There most certainly was no bodily assault.
shareRemember that when next time someone hits you with the door.
If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as manservants do. (Exodus 21:7)
The Nutcracker was dropped to keep her from taking Adam and exiting the stage. There was no bodily assault or even intent to harm. Merry Christmas!😉
shareand I quote:
"You need to read what is written on every theater in the United States: NO ONE IS PERMITTED BACKSTAGE UNLESS THEY ARE EITHER STAGE HANDS OR WITH THE PERFORMING COMPANY.
The male lead was the main reason that that theater was in existence so he was included as he was on the Board. "
However it happened, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving hag. I happen to think it was intentional....and I'm OK with that 😜
shareI couldn't get past it. You know he is in a relationship and contemplating marriage yet you still passively aggressively pursue him? ick. Not Christmasy at all.
