Great film, plagued by poor reviewers.

There seems to be disconnect with a lot of the reviewers for this film so I'm going to try and clear things up.

Consider that this movie is 25% Horror, 35% Sci-Fi, and 40% Thriller. You'll now understand that the horror aspect isn't represented nearly as much and adjust your opinion accordingly. What I imagine has happened is that all of these are well meaning but confused people and not trolls who have nothing better to do with their lives. Apart from a couple of jump scares and mild scare tension it only barely qualifies in the horror genre.

It's a great film if you've seen some good Sci-Fi in your time.

Even though it is supposed to be subjective, i dont think You will ever be succesful at convincing people that this is a good movie. Terrible plot, terrible acting, terrible screenwriting and adding a Baldwin does not really help. I think it has Got the rating it deserves.

I like that all of the detractors from this movie have no articulate reason for doing so. Just generic trigger words with no explanation.

Don't forget, 100% crap! It literally plays out like they made this crap up as they went along. Every scene in the film is just thrown in there, with no continuity, logic or plot as a whole. I love horror and sci-fi, and genre crossovers of the two, but this is just amateurish film making at it's worst.

The current IMDB rating of 3.6 is overly generous in my opinion.

I think the reviewers have been very fair, on average. This mess of a movie has some good moments and is littered with a few interesting ideas and effects, but it's a 3/10 at best. It's just good enough to exceed a 1 or maybe a 2, in my opinion. Most of the reviews I read gave it between 2 and 5. Very fair.

A lot of strange things happen in this world. Things you don't know about in Grand Rapids.

I've watched plenty of scifi, horror and fantasy movies. This has to be one of the worst. A waste of time.
