So bad that it's BAD.

Everybody loves a 'So bad it's good' movie every now and then. "The Room" being the most obvious modern classic. It's funny because the people making that movie were legitimately trying to make a successful drama...and failing spectacularly on every level. "The Room" rightfully has it's place as a modern 'bad=good' masterpiece.

"The Incredible Bulk", on the other hand, REEKS of the ATTEMPT at failure; the creators of this dud were obviously going for a similar cult success as "The Room", which has undoubtably at this point made some real $$$ for Tommy Wiseau and co., given it's enduring success as a midnight cult-phenomenon. 'Bulk' had it's biggest gig as a portion of a Red letter media "Best of the Worst" segment.

The movie itself is horrifically bad, but you can really tell it's TRYING to be bad, thus sucking any potential amusement or laughs far better than the movie itself's sucking. It's actually one of the more cynical movies I've ever seen; one of the more blatant cash-grabs/stabs at infamy ever made.

Well, the director seems to stand firmly behind his work according to this interview: http://ninjadixon.blogspot.fi/2012/10/how-to-bulk-up-without-budget-interview.html

If he is joking, he is a lot better actor than the actual actors he hired!
