They just don't get irony or dark humour. Laughable.

Americans seemed to like this film more than much of the rest of the world, apparently, as the IMDB rating from US users is higher than non-US users: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1788391/ratings?ref_=tt_ov_rt

American Psycho is one of my favorite movies of all time along with being one of the funniest I've ever seen. I'm an American. Your statement is false.

To be fair if that film didn't bale a great actor from britain it wouldn't have been half as good..
