Batista was in Wrong Side of Town. Really bad movie & equally bad acting. But he was surprisingly good in it. He's not going to win an academy award, but he was pretty much the only believable character. Though his part was very small.

I "think" he's the lead good guy in this flick. So we'll see how that works.

Danny Trejo is also supposed to be in this movie, though he's not listed

My exact opinion. As horrible as that movie was you would think Batista was the worst part and it was just the opposite. I was surprised at the fact that his performance actually got me through the movie.

Usually if you are a top lvl wrestler, you are acting every day as that character. Just look at the Rock...he was a natural from day 1 really. Not every guy is the Rock though.....he's the exception, but even John Cena was ok in his movies.

That is very true. But think about it, Dave "The Animal" Batista didn't really have to put on much of an act to look like the badass character he was portraying in the ring. It was 90% looks/muscle and 10% acting, in my opinion. I liked him as a wrestler though (great entrance), and I haven't seen the movie yet... so we'll find out soon.

Danny Trejo is really in it.
