I haven't seen this movie yet and the reviews from users are kind of all over the place with the exception of everyone agreeing that the script was written by a 5th grader with a potty mouth.
Nevertheless, does Batista deliver? Can he act? He didn't have a large enough role in Wrong Side of Town to be able to tell. But if he can deliver lines in an actual serious drama then there's still hope he might be cast for Gears of War!
I'm not a WWE fan, but having said that, I thought Batista was rather good and effective in this mess of a story.He was solmen, low key, but kinda has a presence about him. You felt sorry for the way he was set up. He's a slightly better actor than John Cena, IMHO. At least, Bautista shows some emotion where needed.
shareI'm only 30 min in but I actually don't think he's that bad. He's playing it pretty stoic but I like his deep scruffy voice. He could definitely be a good GoW candidate. He already looks like them. No makeup required.
