A touch of truth

As a part Aboriginal person who grew up in the bush and made a career in the city, there is a fair dose of reality in this movie. I've known TJ in the bush and in the city, both before and after and in between. The TJ's of the world have been some of my dearest friends. Great props to Brendan Fletcher for a courageous, touching and unique effort at reflecting the demons that are haunting Aboriginal men as they attempt to find a place in modern Australia.

Aboriginal Australia has really struggled to find a place in the modern world, largely due to exclusion experienced in a country that has historically not appreciated their true nature. Australia needs more movies like this to delve below the alienation and alcolohism to help the world to relate to these fundamentally gentle people.
