3 things about this movie

1, Daniel lacks serious charisma, you just don't feel like rooting for the guy at all.

2, when his sister is all "what a beautiful thing they are getting married"... they are getting married because if he goes to jail and she's not his wife, no conjugal visits.

3, Daniel keeps going on and on at the end about how people just label people they don't agree with as terrorists, all while wearing a shirt with George Bush on it saying "International Terrorist"

god he was annoying, I wish the whole movie was about that other filmmaker guy in Oregon

The movie isn't made so you will root for the guy (if you want that go to a Michael Moore movie). It is made so you can understand the guy. He was young and foolish and did a stupid thing. He's paying for it and he's accepted that. I think most everyone comes off pretty decent, with the exception of the police who use violence on protestors.

I especially liked the interview with the head of Superior Lumber saying that for a long time afterwards he was spooked, looking over his shoulder wondering if they were coming after him. Their actions DID hurt real people.

One of the points the movie does push pretty clearly is that sending him to a maximum security prison with limited visitation rights is overkill. It would have been nice to have gotten an explanation why it is was so important to put him in the terrorist prison (I presume even with a terrorist label he could have served time at a different federal prison, it's hard to suggest he's much of a risk.) Also do the anti-Daniel people think the prison he was sent to (not the prison term itself) was fair?

Why would they bother getting married. An effeminate guy like that who got sent to prison for being a *****, he's obviously somebody's wife in prison.
