on the Rushmore episode

Ill go with Meltzers statement, that I in no way support their beleifs, but in the conversation with the kkk guy, was it just me or was the kkk the most rational one there? seened like the decoded crew was just there to attack anything he said

reply

Go infiltrate the Hall of Records and report back. Don't bitch out.

I've watched a number of shows on Mt. Rushmore, South Dakota, the Black Hills and even shows about the Sturgis Rally and many have shown the Hall of Records and explained what was in it.Funny how all of the other shows have interviews with Park Rangers but these idiots from Decoded say they wouldn't commit to interviews for their show............

If the History Channel isn't talking about Hitler, they do their best to put some racist/hatred slant on things. Guilt sells.

I enjoyed the episode but the "chance" meeting with the Indian at the bar made me roll my eyes. If your going to do scenes like this at least make it look believable.

Indeed!

I enjoyed it too, but just because it was cool to see the monument.

First off... even if the sculptor guy was a complete nazi/kkk card carrier, does it really matter? Its not like he just went on his own and started hacking into the damn mountain... he was commissioned by US govt to build the thing, so what does it really matter what his personal beliefs are?

This trio is like the 3 stooges!

For God's sake... let's not attack them about Hitler. At least it's some type of History. Otherwise we are stuck with Snipers, cars, Pawn shops (which is good I guess), Monsters, aliens, UFO's, Modern Marvels and other useless shows and topics.

Please, please, please H and H2, play some history. And no, not always The Divinci Code Decoded, or the Freemasons!

Do people eat this Swamp People stuff up?

Please, play old high school history movies even. If I see one more exposee on Roswell I think I am gonna lose it.

i work quite a bit in the black hills as a forest service employee and the monument never fails to impress. The bison burgers in the cafe howerver, are less then steller.
