The Area 51 car escape was the MOST ridiculous....

crap I've ever seen!

I mean they are saying well lets see if we get out of the car if the patrol trucks will move from the top of the hill. WEELLLL you have camera men with large cameras and assistants already outside filming and they haven't moved! So you're all good, they know you're there, it's fake. Then during the "getaway" scene, the camera men are just standing there in the "off limits" zone filming it HAAA. These three are acting as if they are alone. Only an idiot would not pick up that there's cameras filming them on this show. They've done this before. They call ahead and those people know who they are, know what studio, etc they are from and KNOW they are there filming.

The made up drama scenes are so dumb. Plus, the whole excitement and shock of the wide load carrying a mysterious object. Unmmmm I'm pretty sure if it was "alien" or anything crazy, it would NOT be transported on a public all access road! Too funny.

For that matter, how do we know they were even there? All they'd really need is a fake warning sign, a location (perhaps miles away from Area 51) with a dirt road and a nearby hill on which to park a surveillance vehicle, and perhaps a few other convincing props for the setting. Then they could film it from any angles they want, take all the time they want, etc.

If all they needed was some dramatic scene, why even bother going through making contacts and getting permissions to approach Area 51? It's a big terrain out there, and no one watching could know the area well enough to say that the setting is nowhere near Area 51.

The thing that got me was this big build up to this scene where they all jump in the SUV and speed off with the trucks following... Cut to commercial... cut to Decoded... new scene... no follow up... were they pulled over?... did they out run the conspirators?... did the aliens get them?...

reply

Yeah, the "acting" in this show is very poor.

reply

They were actually there...apparently you have no idea what Area 51 looks like lol. They were most definitely there and that scene was certainly not staged.

reply

I know they were there but perhaps not for that scene where the distant car watches them. They might have been in the area but who watching knows the area well enough to know positively that they were on the edge of the forbidden zone? Could have been faked with a few props, but either way, it's no big deal.

reply

Yeah, I see your point. But I was there with them while filming so I can assure you it was all legit :)

reply

If you were there rolledevon, then tell us, What happened? They jump in the car and run for it. What happened? Did they get pulled over? Did the situation dissispate? It's silly to build up this dramatic chain of events and leave us hanging. It detracts from the series. Let us know.

reply

they were clearly all murdered and replaced with clones, just forgot to pick up the film, doh.....

reply

I was scared for them and it even put sh*it in my hanes.

I was thinkng the same thing. There they go, running away from some car coming at them (couldve been anybody), and the cameraman is filming them as they drive past! Poor guy. Left behind with evil security guards.

Skip to the next scene of stunned looks and no acknowledgment of area 51 adventures.

I also like how they "knew" that big white object came from area 51. I have massive generators and wide-as-the road objects in my area all the time. I havent a clue where they come from, they take all sorts of back and main roads (sometimes no road at all. A swatch of forest is cut) because they have to fit the needs of the object, and they also come with police escorts..

reply

Hahaha shows how much you know.....I can say for absolute certainty that this was 100% real :) just trust me, I know.

reply

No one's gonna "trust you" ...If you open the door a crack then you have to open it all the way. Say what happened or just stfu and we'll assume that you are lying.

As for me: I thought it was an absurd scene. The cameraman was standing there still when they took off. Pointless cheap drama.

This should have been a 2 hour episode concentrating more on interviews and stuff.

I'll also kill two birds with one stone by saying that the chick on this show is a total and complete airhead! Rolledevon, on the off chance that you really do work for the show: please tell her that she has the I.Q. of a very large baked potato!
