Area 51 - what I think that place is:

A top secret prison for the worst of the worst. Is that crazy or is it possible? There was a FOIA filed against Area 51 and it came back as having no base commander according to Jesse Ventura. Even if it was nuclear testing, everyone knows that the government does that already so there isn't really a reason for the government to be so tight-lipped on it. UFO's are still unbelievable and I don't think there are aliens there or anything, but I'm still convinced that it isn't a weapon testing facility. Also, who else got the impression that most of the guys that supposedly worked in Area 51 were spooks and never actually worked there?

Well, it's not as crazy as half the theories about the place. I don't think it's the case though. Mainly because of all those civilian contractors they fly in all the time, don't think a prison needs engineers and the like.

It's just an aircraft testing/development base.

Ooh that's true. I forgot about the engineers. But god, I'd do anything to see the inside of area 51, i don't want to be pwned by a sniper trying to sneak across though. ;)

Chances are you would probably be disappointed. The mystery is much more interesting than the reality I'm sure. I'm sure you'd see some cool experimental planes and stuff like that though.

A previous worker sued the government for the rasiation exposure he recieved there. He blabbed that pretty much its just an exoerimental aircraft bas and the dumped old aircraft and radiation in the grounds there. That's about it.
