Actors in the movie that looked the least like their real life counterpa

To me, Justin Bartha as Stiv Bators, he looked like a Urban Outfitters version of what a punk would look like! He looked nothing like Stiv, didn't have his mannerisms, and it also seemed like he was an uncaring bastard regarding his bandmate that got stabbed (wasn't the case according to other stories about Stiv). Also it was anachronistic (if I remember properly) of when he hanged himself on stage with his mic cord, because he did that instead a few times in the 80s when he was lead singer of his Goth band The Lords of the New Church (was once clinically dead for a few minutes too on stage, due to his stunt) and not when he was part of his Punk band The Dead Boys.

The guy that played Lou Reed was a terrible choice.

The Police were laughably bad. They all looked like fifteen year olds ("Sting" and "Stewart" bore no resemblance at all), held their instruments unconvincingly, and I think they even counted off "Roxanne" improperly. They'd have been better off using makeup on the existing Police.

You're right, they really didn't look like them, and the scene that showed The Police "Auditioning" at CBGB was way off because when they recorded Roxanne, they had Miles Copeland,Stewart's older brother in place as their manager and had them signed to A & M Records for the Outlandos d' Amour record in 1978,But then,a lot of this movie was not historically correct. You see the Ramones auditioning with full Marshall stacks. They didn't have that stuff when they first started out, they had small crappy Fender and Traynor amps back in 1974 when they first gigged, then got the bigger rigs in '77 and on.
