I Like It...But...

...it, at times, is a bit raunchy. Which, actually, makes me like it more. I like the fact that we aren't seeing the same "young" Raven from That's So Raven or her other work, but rather a more grown up Raven. When Loretta Divine's character said to Georgia "Oh, I see you have on my riding shoes" (those huge high heels) and Georgia says to her "I didn't know you rode horses" and Loretta Divine's character said "I ain't never been on a horse a day in my life," I was like ooooooohhhhhhhh snap, this ain't ABC Family no more. And the whole over sexualized scene with Raven and that casting director guy, Raven talking in double entendres when referring to chicken. Ohhhh Yeah, I can get into this show because it isn't too childish, which I like.

That's a constant misconception that people make about ABC Family they actually get very raunchy on occasion. ABC Family ain't no Disney channel.

ABC Family's staple show is a bout pregnant teenagers, lol they've ALWAYS been raunchy!

I love that about the show too, can't wait for the new episodes!

i always thought abc was a lot like disney thats why i wasnt expecting anything over PG. really happy that raven isnt being a goodie two shoes anymore

ABC Family is raunchy. All Secret Life talks about is sex(oral and otherwise). Plus there's a lot of sleeping around. I'd say not quite Disney.

Pretty Little Liars has a kid dating a teacher. Plus it can get violent or spooky and deals with death.

So this is not out of the ordinary.

I wasn't really aware of this. I watch ABC Family, but never have I watched their original programs, so I didn't really know what to expect. Now that you say what goes on in the other shows, I suppose some of the stuff in this show seems slightly tame. That whole "Family" part of ABC Family isn't necessarily "family" friendly now is it? That's okay, though, because like I said, I like raunchy, and appreciate it for not being "bubblegum Disney."

I think that's why they're theme is "A New Kind Of Family." They didn't really wanna be wholesome but they're not HBO so it's almost a happy medium. So it's like the fun of Disney/Nik with more edge but not CW crazy. So maybe that's it. Somewhere between Disney/Nik and The CW.

I liked it for the most part, didn't care for the second scene with the casting director seemed too forced.

I like that the show is showing Raven as a sexy woman which she is even more now after losing all that weight. It shows that she can still be the funny star of the show! She looks hot!

ABC Family hasn't been family orientated since Wildfire came out back in 2005.

The problem with babies is that they become kids and the problem with kids is they become teens.
